The Chanel Jacket

Exclusively available at  " The Sewing Workroom"  in the area

 

 

This is a full day course. During the day you will learn all the couture techniques used in constructing the Jacket in the same way that Chanel has been making them since the 1920's. You will learn the quilting techniques for inside the jacket , how to set the sleeves in, we will look at the weighing of the hems with the traditional Chanel chain method, overlapping the hand stitched seams and look at the final trimmings and discuss the Chanel Fabrics.

 

You will work to make half a jacket to use as a reference point for your future uses.

 

You must have a good basic understanding of dressmaking to attend this course.
